Turkish Delight I

We had planted broad beans to nourish the soil and increase nitrogen levels. After harvesting the beans, we mixed the stalks and roots into the soil and waited for natural fertilization to take effect We then planted lavender and rosemary, and sowed thyme and sage seeds, in this soil naturally enriched by the broad bean roots and stalks.It will take some time for the thyme and sage to grow into seedlings and mature plants; We will share photos along the way. Aromatic plants are attracting a lot of interest in the area. They are widely consumed, especially as tea during the winter months. For this reason, we initially decided to cultivate aromatic plants. As the process unfolds, we plan to intersperse some vegetables, taking planting times into account.

Beginning I

In the grassy courtyard behind the school building in Sibiu, a small permaculture garden bed features nasturtium with yellow blooms alongside squash or pumpkin plants, with a young staked sapling growing nearby. The surrounding lawn is left natural to encourage local biodiversity.

The first step I

This is the beginning of a permaculture garden at the school in Valencia. Students have started planting vegetables and looking after fruit trees. The drip irrigation system helps save water and supports sustainable gardening. The garden will continue to grow during the project and will become an outdoor learning space

Harvest III

The photo was taken after the harvest. After gathering the produce, we trampled the remaining plant matter into the soil to serve as fertilizer, and we are now waiting for it to decompose.
